Prize Winner Commitments

If my project is selected as a Gwatkin Prize winner:

Conference Presentation

I understand that to receive the Gwatkin Prize, I, or a member of my team, must be able to present this work in-person at an M4M-sponsored side session at the Health Systems Research Conference in Cairo, Egypt (December 7-9, 2026).

Travel Stipend

I understand that I will receive a $4,000 travel stipend to support travel to and attendance at the conference. The travel stipend will be disbursed after the conference.

Promotional Activities

I understand I may be asked to participate in a webinar, written case study or other promotional activities around the Gwatkin Equity Measurement Prize and conference presentation, and I will actively participate in such requests.

Tax Responsibility

I understand that the prize recipient, as designated below, is solely responsible for all eligible taxes on any prize funds or travel stipend received. Metrics for Management will not withhold any taxes on the funds disbursed.

Prize Recipient

If you enter an organization’s name, the funds are intended to be received by the organization. The selection below is final, and we are unable to redirect funds at a later time.
